Appointment Information
Using our online booking system, you can easily make an appointment at any time by clicking here.
You can also book via phone by calling our friendly reception team on 07 4954 8866 during opening hours.
A standard consultation time is 10 minutes.
To ensure continuity of care, we will always try to book you in with your usual doctor unless you specifically request another doctor.
If you have an urgent medical issue during opening hours, please call our reception staff, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
In a medical emergency, please call 000 and ask for an ambulance.
If you have numerous or complex medical issues or require a procedure, a longer consultation may be required. In this instance, please call to discuss your situation with our reception staff.
As you can appreciate, the doctors have allocated a specific time to see you. If you cannot make your appointment, please phone our clinic on 4954 8866 at least one hour before your appointment. Failure to do this may incur a fee of $50 for your missed appointment.
If you are an existing patient wanting a repeat prescription, you may be able to request this online by clicking the 'Repeat Script' button in the HotDoc booking form. This service is offered by:

- Dr Nasr
In most other circumstances you will need to see a doctor to have a script written. Doctors have a duty of care and need to determine if you should be prescribed a medication based on various factors, or if you should continue or cease taking a medication, they may have prescribed for you previously.
We now offer repeat referrals online. You can request this online via our online booking page with HotDoc with the following Doctors:

- Dr Farima
You must be a regular patient at our clinic to use this service and private fees will apply.
It is best practice to operate a recall system for abnormal results for pathology, radiology or Specialists. Family Health Care Rural View has a recall system in place, and we ask for your understanding and acceptance of this policy. If necessary, you will be contacted by one of our Doctors or Nursing Staff by letter, phone, or SMS – usually to make an appointment concerning these results. We request, however, that you always ring the practice for test results, preferably after 10am.
