Fees
The GPs at Family Health Care Rural View privately bill and a range of fees apply.
Private fees apply for any procedure, excision and some consumables. You will always be told in advance the expected cost.
All new patients first appointment will be charged an appointment fee at the full rate. This includes children under 16, Pensioners and Heath Care Card holders.
After your first visit, most GPs at this clinic will then bulk bill patients with concession cards and children under 16. Please talk to reception at time of booking.
The following doctors at our Rural View and Ooralea clinics will bulk bill all pension concession card holders and children under 16. They will also bulk bill all health care card concession holders. You must have a valid health care concession card which will be checked at each appointment.

Fees are always payable at the time of consultation, and we accept cash, cheque, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Amex) and Eftpos. Our Practice is happy to lodge your receipt to Medicare via “HIC on line” in which Medicare will deposit your rebate back into your designated account usually in 5 minutes. Alternatively if Medicare have your bank details we can lodge your rebate for you via Medicare online and rebates are usually refunded into your bank account in 76 hours.
The most commonly charged fees are on display in our waiting room. If you have any concerns with paying our fees, please discuss with your Doctor or the Practice Manager.
You may request your medical records be transferred to an alternate GP. A fee may apply. Please contact us directly for details.
